Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- This year, within the framework of the Investment Program, the Obod Qishloq and Obod Mahalla state programs, it is planned to install 225,000 water meters, and 121,000 meters were installed in January-April, the head of the information service of Uzsuvtaminot Akmal Murodov presented information on the work to provide consumers with water meters.
In addition, in 2022-2024, a total of 15,579 meters are planned to be installed at water supply facilities, main and distribution networks run by Uzsuvtaminot.
Currently, together with the Korean corporation "K-Water", a project is being implemented as an experiment to install "smart" water meters in 8,450 apartments of multi-storey buildings located in the Mirabad and Shaykhantakhur districts of the capital.
