Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The business program of the International Industrial Exhibition is full of thematic events and specifics. One of these events was a panel session on the topic: “Cooperation in industry: digitalization, automation and advanced technologies” with the participation of the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Voitov, as well as officials and heads of regions of the countries participating in the exhibition.
The session allowed the participants to exchange experience in the field of digitalization of industrial cooperation processes. The speakers emphasized that the exhibition itself and the panel sessions taking place on its sidelines have the right economic vector, aimed at building cooperation chains both within the country and within the region as a whole.
During the speech of A. Voitov, it was indicated that today digital platforms erase state borders, bringing together enterprises from different countries, providing them with the opportunity to search for raw materials at affordable prices, opening up new sales markets, and facilitating technology transfer. It was announced that the further development of cooperation ties is impossible without the active use of information and communication technologies, the digitalization of all processes for finding partners, concluding agreements and fulfilling contractual obligations. This task requires the creation of a single, integral and not inferior to advanced foreign analogues, digital ecosystem of industrial cooperation. The main element of this digital ecosystem in Uzbekistan has become the Electronic Cooperation Portal “cooperation.uz”. This electronic trading platform helps to strengthen and develop industrial cooperation between local manufacturers, expand industrial production and attract small businesses to production activities.
The speakers noted that the exchange of experience and technological developments would significantly strengthen the relationship between the economies and peoples of Central Asia. Digital technologies will allow companies from the countries of the region to make business mutually beneficial, partnerships - trusting and long-term.
