First 200 young people, who register, will be invited to the Math Olympiad, which will be held at the premises of Inha University in Tashkent on 21 May 2017.

The main goal of the Olympiad is to reveal gifted and active students of academic lyceums and professional colleges, as well as to show that studying mathematics can be interesting and fun.

The Olympiad will take place in two stages. Interested students of academic lyceums and professional colleges of Tashkent city should undergo registration by filling in the online application at https://goo.gl/forms/0ZlIILxLdyAdUI1u1. Registration process will end on 14 May 2017. After the registration, the students should submit a certificate from their place of study.

In the second stage, the participants of the Olympiad should solve 20 tasks on math within allocated 90 minutes.

The winners of the Olympiad will receive certificates from the Inha University in Tashkent and get an opportunity to study at Pre-University Courses for free.

The manager of IUT Continuing Education Center, Amirulla Abdullaev said: “We pay great attention to attraction of youth to the science. Last year, Inha University in Tashkent successfully held the Touch Math Festival. After the festival, we received many requests to organize similar events. Inha Tashkent Math Challenge is the part of the work in attraction of youth to natural sciences. In future, we plan to organize interesting scientific events to reveal talented and active students.”
