Inflation in Uzbekistan increases by 4% in Jan-Jun 2010

Uzbekistan State Statistics Committee said that the prices for food products rose by 3% in the first half of 2010 against 3.7% in January-June 2009.

Prices for non-food goods rose by 2.3% in the first six months of 2010 compared to 1.3% in the same period of 2009.

According to committee, the prices of paid service rose by 9.4% in the first six months of 2009. The growth of prices for paid services made up 6.5% in January-June 2009.
