Industrial production in Uzbekistan grows by 11.9% y-o-y in 3Q

The committee said the country produced consumer goods for 3.821 trillion soums in the reporting period or grew by 19.8% compared to January-September 2006, of which 1.43 trillion soums (up 2.38 trillion soums) fell to share of food products, including spirits and 2.38 trillion soums to non-food products (24%).

Fuel industry (17.8% from total industrial output), non-ferrous metallurgy (16.7%), machinery and metal processing industry (15%) and light industry (13.21%) made significant contribution to growth of industrial output.
