Individuals reporting violations of licensing legislation will be rewarded with a monetary reward

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the Presidential Decree "On measures to radically improve licensing and permitting procedures", authorized bodies are prohibited from:

- refuse to provide public services because the license applicant has arrears on mandatory payments for utilities when issuing, extending and reissuing licenses;

- to replace licenses and permissive documents for contracts concluded between state bodies and business entities;

- directly or indirectly coerce business entities to use other types of paid services that are not provided for in licensing and permissive requirements and conditions, or to obtain permits.

Until 1 January 2021, the validity period of all licenses and permissive documents is extended, which will expire in 2020.

Until 1 January  2021, an information system "License" will be developed, covering all processes related to licensing, permitting and notification procedures.

In addition, the procedure is established in accordance with which from January 1, 2021:

- licensing, permitting and notification procedures are carried out in stages completely in electronic form through the information system "License";

- persons who reported violations of licensing legislation will be rewarded with a monetary reward in the amount of 10 percent of the amount of the imposed fine upon confirmation of the violation;

- termination and cancellation of licenses and permissive documents are carried out exclusively in court.
