Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Individuals in Uzbekistan to enter PINFL instead of TIN in payment documents from 9 April.

Corresponding changes were made to the regulations regarding the requirements for processing payment documents provided by customers to banks.

These changes are planned to be implemented in stages until 9 April, and then in full.

After the introduction of these changes into practice, in all payment documents, instead of the TIN (taxpayer identification number) of the payer - an individual, in the details of the payment document, referred to as "payer identification number", their PINFL (personal identification number of an individual) must be indicated without fail.

In this regard, individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities (as well as individual entrepreneurs), when drawing up payment documents in order to make a payment, must correctly and completely make their PINFL.

Also, all business entities are asked to pay attention to the correctness of entering the PINFL of counterparties - individuals when compiling payment requests and collection orders.
