Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In winter, physical education in secondary schools will be taught for 2 hours a week from the third quarter of the 2021-2022 academic year. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Public Education.

From the 2020-2021 school year, in schools without a gym, physical education classes held during the winter period have been reduced.

According to the ministry, the Minister of Public Education on 11 January canceled this order.

This decision was made in order to systematically engage students in physical culture and mass sports, as well as to develop skills for a healthy lifestyle.
