Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2021, 35.4 thousand cases of abortion were registered by women in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Statistic Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The highest rate was recorded in the Tashkent region 5.7 thousand (16.1% of the total), Tashkent city 4.9 thousand (13.9 % of the total) and Samarkand region 4.9 thousand (13.9% of the total).
