In the autumn-winter period 2020-2021, consumers of Bukhara region to be supplied with 1.82 billion kWh of electricity

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Headquarters of the Ministry of Energy held a regular off-site meeting in Bukhara region in order to analyze in detail the progress in preparing for a stable energy supply to the region in the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021.

The members of the Headquarters began their work on 27 September with a visit to the 500 kV Karakul substation, then a meeting with the khokim of the Alat region took place, during which they analyzed how ready the regional power supply structure is for the upcoming cold season and what else needs to be done. Recall that in April of this year, due to strong winds and rains, serious problems arose with the power supply of Bukhara region, which were completely eliminated in a short time, as a result of which consumers were provided with a stable power supply.

In general, in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021, consumers of Bukhara region will be supplied with 1.82 billion kWh of electricity. The total number of electricity consumers in the region is 426,100 units, of which 21,598 are legal entities and 404,502 are individuals (households).

16.2 thousand kilometers of power lines and 4957 transformer stations will be used to supply consumers.

By 1 October, according to the plan, 2,633.8 km of power lines and 717 transformer substations will be repaired.

To date, a reserve of 24 transformer substations, 20.5 tons of transformer oil and 31.4 km of cable products has been created in the region for a stable autumn-winter period.
