Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Improving the quality of education is the only right way for the development of New Uzbekistan. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated this in his address to parliament.

“As our great poet and thinker Yusuf Khas Khajib said: “Where there is intelligence, there is greatness, The one who possesses knowledge will become great (Gaining knowledge, you will gain glory),” the President noted.

To achieve these goals, it is necessary to continue the reforms we have begun in this area, go to educational institutions, meet teachers more, solve existing problems together, and promote the implementation of their ideas to improve the quality of education, he said.

“We will include in the State Program next year all the issues raised by our people, indicating specific ways to solve them,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

“I ask you to be active in this process by putting forward new initiatives, deputies and senators, representatives of mahallas, intellectuals, youth and entrepreneurs, the general public,” he added.
