Imports of electric vehicles increased by almost 6 times

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Agency on Statistics, in January-July 2023, Uzbekistan imported 7,391 electric vehicles worth US$217.1 million from 10 foreign countries.

Compared to the same of period last year, imports of electric vehicles increased by 6,084 units, or almost 6 times.

Most electric vehicles were imported from China.
