Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, about 25,000 tons of bananas were imported to Uzbekistan in the first two months of 2022.

The volume of imports of bananas increased by 14.3 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the most bananas in January - February 2022:

Ecuador - 24.2 thousand tons

Kazakhstan - 238 tons

Turkey - 150 tons

India - 61 tons
