Import of electric vehicles increased by 4.5 times

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,125 electric vehicles from 10 foreign countries in the amount of US$34.1 million, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Imports of electric vehicles increased by 875 units, or 4.5 times, compared to the corresponding period in 2021.

For 6 months of 2022, Uzbekistan imported mainly electric vehicles from the following countries:

China - 983

OAB - 73

Germany - 27

Hong Kong - 25

Korea - 6

Lithuania - 6

Estonia - 2
