Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A list of technological equipment not produced in the republic, exempt from payment of customs duties and value added tax when imported into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of the Ministers of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

According to the resolution, benefits for payment of import duties and value added tax are applied to new technological equipment with special codes (HS Codes) included in this list. 

New technological equipment is technological equipment that was produced no more than 3 years ago at the time of customs clearance under the “release for free circulation” customs mode.

The List includes 676 types of technological equipment, in particular:

• equipment for milk processing;
• equipment for the production of bakery products, pasta, spaghetti or similar products;
• equipment for the confectionery industry, the production of cocoa powder or chocolate;
• equipment for meat or poultry processing;
• machines for yarn dyeing;
• automatic sewing machines;
• civil passenger aircraft with a capacity of more than 50 but less than 300 passengers.
