Implementation of Country Programme on Decent Work in Uzbekistan discussed

The Uzbek side presented information on implementation of the Country Programme on Decent Work in Uzbekistan and its results. It was noted that Uzbekistan implements national and international labor standards, including ILO Conventions, promotion information on this direction, etc.

At the meeting, the sides also discussed components of decent labour and issues of further improving cooperation of Uzbekistan with the ILO and World Bank.

During the meeting, the sides reached agreement to hold a roundtable at the level of specialists, in order to improve mechanism of implementation of ILO Conventions in social-labour sphere.
