ILO delegation pays visit to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Council of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation hosted a meeting with the ILO Occupational Safety and Health Senior Specialist Valentin Mocanu.
Other officials of ILO also attended the meeting, the Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation said in a statement.
At the meeting, the ILO officials received information on activities of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation in protection of labour forces.
They also received information on new law “On labour ptotection”, which expanded rights of trade unions.
The sides discussed issues of protection of labour in Uzbekistan and cooperation among international and national companies, as well as improving legal knowledge of population.
