Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During regular events held in June-July of this year, the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with Uzneftegazinspektsiya and Uztransgaz, revealed a number of violations of the law on the use of natural gas by CNG filling stations.
In particular, illegal use of natural gas for 2.2 billion soums at three CNG filling stations in Bukhara region, 3.3 billion soums at two CNG filling stations in Samarkand region, 3.6 billion soums at five CNG filling stations in Syrdarya region, and 31.3 billion soums at seventeen CNG filling stations in Jizzakh region and 2.2 billion soums at one CNG filling station in Kashkadarya region were revealed.
All identified violations are related to illegal external influence on the performance of natural gas measuring instruments.
Based on calculations, the amount of damage caused by these enterprises is 41 billion soums, which corresponds to the monthly consumption of 209,000 households using natural gas.
