Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the city of Termez, on 18 May this year, a resident of Kumkurgan district B. Sanam (names have been changed) applied to the regional police department and, based on her application, employees of the anti-corruption and economic crimes department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate region, an operational event was carried out in one of the restaurants located in Alpomish mahalla in the city of Termez. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Surkhandarya region.

It was established that a resident of Jarkurgan district H. Ikrom agreed to sell 50 acres of land located on the territory of Jarkurgan district, which does not belong to him, for a total of 500,000,000 soums, and was detained when he received 214,000,000 soums from B. Sanam, real evidence has been removed.

On the above fact, a criminal case was initiated against H. Ikrom under paragraph “a” of part 4 of article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
