In particular, the lawyer of the Bar Association of the city of Navoi H.K. demanded from a local resident 8 thousand US dollars for a positive decision in his favor, through his high-ranking acquaintances, a criminal case initiated and being investigated by the internal affairs bodies.

The lawyer was detained by officers of the State Security Service for Navoi region and the territorial department of the Department for combating economic crimes while receiving 7,500 US dollars by him.

In the course of pre-investigation measures, it was established that H.K., keeping US$1,500 out of US$7,500 as his share, he had to transfer the rest to his colleague - lawyer F.N. In the course of the continuation of the operational activity, when receiving 6,000 US dollars, F.N. was also detained.

Currently, on this fact in relation to H.K. and F.N., a criminal case was initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
