Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 October 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov held a videoconference meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Marynich.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects of Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The parties considered the schedule of upcoming joint events, including the issue of holding the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation and inter-ministerial consultations.

They also discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations.
