IIMFCS to monitor presidential elections in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Independent Institute for monitoring the formation civil society (IIMFCS) started to monitoring of election campaigns, conducted within preparation and holding presidential elections, which will be held on 4 December.
The institute will pay attention to formation of electoral districts and polling stations, election commission, collection of signature in support of presidential candidates and promotion events. The institute will also monitor voting process and vote counting.
The institute will publish results of monitoring and its recommendations on further improving election legislation in Uzbekistan.
The monitoring will be based on methodology, developed based on international and international standards.
