Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 6 November this year, a fair of products made by persons with disabilities was held in the capital's shopping center.

This fair, held for the third time, was organized under the motto "We are together!" in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Society of Disabled People.

The main goal of the social project "We are Together!" - assistance in finding by persons with disabilities their place in life, support of their endeavors, professional potential.

About 100 persons with disabilities from different regions of Uzbekistan participated in the fair with their products. They presented products and handicrafts in the areas of embroidery, carpentry, confectionery, sewing, gold embroidery, folk crafts.

During the fair, they purchased products for almost 500 million soums.

As part of the fair, employees of the Ministry of Justice, the Agency for Public Services, the Agency for Intellectual Property, the registry office, the non-governmental non-profit organization "Madad", notaries and lawyers provided the population with free mobile legal services, consultations were given.

Moreover, in order to support vocational guidance of persons with disabilities, to create decent conditions for them, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Society of Disabled People and the Association of Business Women of Uzbekistan, the Khunarmand Association, the Vatanparvar organization, and the Association of Psychologists.

During the event, the leadership of the Ministry of Justice awarded participants, sponsors and partner organizations with memorable gifts and special certificates.

Musical entertainment events with the participation of artists are organized for the participants and visitors of the fair.

The social project continued with a charity and health event. After the end of the fair, participants who arrived from different regions of the republic were invited by the Ministry of Justice to a recreation area located in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region. In the picturesque recreation area, located in the foothills, a festive dastarkhan is served for guests, entertainment and sports and recreational activities are organized. Free medical examinations and interesting trainings from psychologists were also organized for them.
