Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Finance Corporation (IFC) placed a new issue of bonds, nominated in Uzbek soums, with the name Samarkand Bonds on the London Stock Exchange on 5 December.
The total volume of the issue is 123 billion soums, the repayment period is one year, the coupon rate is 9.45% per annum.
The proceeds will be provided to Ipak Yoli Bank as a loan to support small business and private entrepreneurship.
The previous three Samarkand Bonds issues placed earlier in 2018 on the London Stock Exchange for a total of 240 billion soums with a maturity of 2 years and with a coupon rate of 9.45% -9.5% were directed to Hamkorbank to expand opportunities for financing small business projects.
