Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Supplies of Russian gas to Uzbekistan through the Central Asia–Center pipeline system increased by 30% in 2025, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
The agency’s report indicates that the total volume of Russian gas exports to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan exceeded 7 billion cubic meters, reflecting Russia’s active expansion of deliveries.
At the same time, domestic gas production in Uzbekistan declined. Over the first eleven months of 2025, output decreased by 4.5%, or approximately 2 billion cubic meters, compared with the same period of the previous year.
