Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 December, the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov got acquainted with the possibilities of the Situation Center, which is being prepared for opening, in the Tashkent city administration.

Deputy khokim of Tashkent for the implementation of information technologies Sardor Abdullayev and his staff demonstrated to the guest the main capabilities of the Situation Center, created on the Digital Tashkent platform.

Different layers of the city map were shown and the ability to quickly obtain statistical information, for example, about demography, income level, the number of individual, multi-storey buildings and non-residential buildings of any designated area, etc.

On a huge screen, information is broadcasted on request: city makhallas, micro-areas and schools attached to them, heat maps for transport accessibility, the ability to travel to the airport, the "comfort" of city areas, taking into account the specified parameters, the location of repair work on the roads or preventive measures on pipelines and other situations.

Sherzod Shermatov was interested in the relevance of information, the possibility of communication with the bases of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate (former traffic police), issues of integrating the card with the address register. A wish was expressed to display data from the ambulance service for possible prompt identification of foci of diseases and potentially unfavorable zones in the city.

The possibility of specifying points of connection to engineering networks was discussed, for the implementation of which it is necessary to change some legislative acts, as well as technical issues of cooperation with various services. In particular, the use of UAVs to clarify the state of trees on the city map and the connection of maps of the agency "Uzbekkosmos" to clarify the actual data.
