Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Hwasong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (South Korea) donated 3 social cars for people with disabilities in Syrdarya region.

The delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city of Hwasong, headed by the chairman, Mr. Park Song Kwon, visited Syrdarya region on 6 July.

During the visit, Syrdarya region received 3 social cars for people with disabilities free of charge. A memorandum of understanding on close cooperation was also signed.

The Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Korea (KOTRA) provided the Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce and Industry with logistical and other support under the ESG+ project.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Hwasong, Mr. Park Song Kwon noted: “I hope that this social action of providing social cars will increase the accessibility of vulnerable segments of the population to social security in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Hwaseong Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to be socially responsible and at the forefront of ESG's management culture, representing Hwaseong enterprises.

The Hwasong Chamber of Commerce actively conducts charitable events within the country every year, and also plans to actively participate in international charitable activities in developing countries. In addition, by increasing the level of participation of enterprises in the chamber, it intends to assist in improving the understanding of the social responsibility of business, increasing the value of an international brand, building a bridge to enter foreign markets, etc.
