Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As part of international cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection, as well as to help prevent the spread and eradication of Covid-19 in Uzbekistan, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea has attracted and sent another batch of humanitarian aid, Dunyo reported.

The cargo, which included 20 multifunctional medical beds with a mattress and a semi-automatic mechanism, was formed with the support of the South Korean company Myung Sung Placon Co., Ltd and sent to Uzbekistan by a charter cargo flight of Uzbekistan Airways JSC.

The diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Seoul continues to actively attract humanitarian aid to combat coronavirus infection, primarily high-tech medical equipment (portable x-ray equipment, syringe pumps and other accessories) for the needs of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The rest of the humanitarian aid worth more than US$126,000 with a total weight of about 15 tons will be sent as the next cargo charter flight is organized.

On 23 May, 20 multifunctional medical beds with a mattress and a semi-automatic production mechanism of the South Korean company Suwan TPL were also delivered to Uzbekistan.

The arrival of humanitarian aid to Tashkent is expected today.
