Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the technical and economic indicators (calculations) of the project for the Construction of a ring elevated metro line in Tashkent city with a length of 25.92 km approved.

The total amount of the project is US$354.36 million, of which due to:

- State budget funds - US$208.39 million;

- loan of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan - US$108.39 million (for 15 years);

- tax and customs benefits - US$37.07 million.

- a loan to Eximbanks of China - US$500,000 (for 20 years, for the purchase of machinery and equipment).

Of the above capital investments in the amount of US$317.28 million, US$238.45 million is allocated for construction and installation work.

The implementation of the project "Construction of a circular elevated metro line in the city of Tashkent" is carried out in accordance with the decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan 2017 and 2018,
