How much did GDP grow by type of economic activity in January-June 2022?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2022, GDP growth of Uzbekistan made up 5.4%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

Gross value added created by all sectors of the economy amounted to 91.6% of the total GDP and increased by 5.5%. Net taxes on products in the structure of GDP amounted to 8.4% and, compared to January-June 2021, increased by 4.6%.

In the context of activities, the growth in value added amounted to:

- in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 2.7%;

– in industry – 5.1%;

– in construction – 6.2%;

- in the service sector - 7.3%.
