How many family businesses operate in Uzbekistan?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, as of 1 June 2023, 46,301 family enterprises operate in Uzbekistan.

And their number in the context of regions was formed in the following order:

Samarkand region - 8,210 units.

Fergana region - 5,096 units.

Khorezm region - 4,878 units.

Kashkadarya region - 4,211 units.

Surkhandarya region -4 122 units.

Tashkent region - 3,918 units.

Navoi region - 3,587 units.

Bukhara region - 2,998 units.

Tashkent city – 2,877 units

Rep. Karakalpakstan - 1,997 units

Jizzakh region - 1,617 units.

Andijan region - 1,535 units.

Namangan region - 1,011 units.

Syrdarya region - 244 units.
