How many citizens of Uzbekistan have gone abroad for education?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  From January to July 2024, a total of 21,700 citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for educational purposes, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

The distribution by country is as follows:

- Tajikistan: 10,497 people

- Russia: 3,891 people

- Kyrgyzstan: 2,211 people

- Turkey: 1,240 people

- South Korea: 1,063 people

- Kazakhstan: 874 people

- United Kingdom: 423 people

- China: 337 people

- Germany: 209 people

- USA: 192 people

- Other countries: 720 people
