Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 1 January 2021, as of 18:00, 1,086 children were born in Uzbekistan.

Of these, 564 are boys, and 522 are girls, most of all newborns are registered in Samarkand region (148 babies). And also according to the rating of newborns, the top three includes Kashkadarya and Ferghana regions - 115 and 113 babies, respectively.

Five of the newborns are twins. At this time, doctors provide all of them with qualified medical care according to certain standards.

On 1 January 2019, 1,708 children were born in Uzbekistan, and 1,974 children were born in 2020.
