Hotels, Restaurants, and Technology: Key Trends Discussed at HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The UzExpoCenter hosted the grand opening of the HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025, the flagship event of the year for the hospitality, restaurant, and tourism sectors in Uzbekistan.
The exhibition brings together leading representatives from hotels and restaurants, equipment and technology suppliers, designers, architects, investors, and experts from various countries. This year’s main themes include digitalization and sustainable development of the industry, service innovations, restaurant franchising, and the development of gastronomic tourism.
Industry of the Future: From Technology to Gastronomy
Following the opening ceremony, delegates and guests toured the exhibition, where over 100 companies showcased their solutions. Participants included professional kitchen equipment manufacturers, IT solution providers, design bureaus, and food industry enterprises.
The displays demonstrated modern approaches to increasing efficiency in hotel and restaurant services, implementing automation technologies, and enhancing customer experience.
Conferences, Dialogues, and Career Opportunities
As part of HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025, the international conference “Investing in Service and Comfort: Business Solutions for HoReCa” took place, focusing on hotel architecture and design, digital management tools for the hospitality business, and strategic investments in service. Topics such as franchising, gastronomic tourism, and entering international markets were also discussed.
Special attention was given to the Job Fair, where leading international hotel chains — Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental, Accor, JW Marriott — in collaboration with Uzbek universities, offered young professionals opportunities to start careers in hospitality.
Gastro Forum 2025 — Showcasing Uzbekistan’s Culinary Scene
A key highlight of the event was the International Gastronomic Forum “Gastro Forum 2025”, held on 22 October. The forum brought together restaurateurs, chefs, food producers, gastronomic experts, and tourism industry representatives. Its goal was to demonstrate how gastronomy can serve as a tool to promote regions and the country as a whole.
The participation of a French chef with two Michelin stars, appearing in Uzbekistan for the first time, attracted particular attention, as he shared his experience and philosophy of haute cuisine.

The event was organized by the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Uzbek Hotel Association.
