HotelPro Hub 2025: New Platform for Hotel Business Development Launched in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — With support from the Tourism Committee, Tashkent hosted the inaugural HotelPro Hub 2025, a professional platform bringing together representatives of the hotel and restaurant industry, investors, architects, equipment and IT solution providers, as well as government agencies.

Opening the event, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Sardor Niyazov emphasized that HotelPro Hub will serve as a productive venue for knowledge exchange and the implementation of modern hospitality solutions.

According to Dilshod Odilov, founder of HotelPro and Chairman of the Tourism Development Association, the forum is the result of years of analysis of the hotel industry’s needs and the effort to unite its key players on a single platform.

“The first experience of the forum demonstrated the effectiveness of connecting hoteliers with those providing essential services. We are creating a long-term ecosystem that will help the industry grow sustainably and with quality,” he noted.

From the outset, participants explored tourism facilities supported by the National Bank of Uzbekistan — a strategic partner in developing modern domestic tourism infrastructure.

Special attention was given to energy efficiency and green technologies. Akmal Muratkулov, head of the R-Towers project, presented solutions for hotels to save resources — from solar panels and energy management card systems to rainwater collection. He stressed that modern travelers increasingly prefer hotels focused on sustainable development, making eco-friendly technologies a competitive advantage.

Architect Tahmina Turdialieva, founder of Tatalab.uz and Chair of the Association of Young Architects of Uzbekistan, highlighted the importance of sustainable design. Using eco-friendly building materials and energy-efficient technologies at the design stage can reduce operating costs by 20–30%.

The digitalization of hotel operations was another key topic. Doniyor Khaydarov, Business Development Manager at EXELY, explained how automating bookings, housekeeping, and inventory, along with Channel Manager and PMS systems, improves service quality and reduces costs.

Aziz Mirdjalilov, Head of Marketing Research and Promotion of National Tourism Products at the Tourism Committee, noted that Uzbekistan is among the world’s fastest-growing tourist destinations:

“Since 2017, the number of foreign tourists has quadrupled. From April 2025, the country is visited by over one million tourists per month. Tourism is becoming a key driver of the economy and creating thousands of new jobs.”

Organizers announced that HotelPro Hub will become an annual event. Upcoming plans include regional meetings and the creation of an online database of forum participants to facilitate effective collaboration between hotels and service providers.
