«HoReCa Expo 2025» Showcased Uzbekistan’s Tourism Potential
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 21 to 23 October 2025, Tashkent hosted the international specialized exhibition «HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025», organized by the Uzbekistan Hoteliers Association with the support of the Tourism Committee.
The event became a key platform for promoting and developing tourism, hospitality, and the restaurant industry in the country.
Over three days, more than 4,500 visitors attended the exhibition. Around 30 companies participated in the exposition, and the business program featured over 70 speakers and experts from Azerbaijan, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and other countries. Participants showcased innovative solutions, modern technologies, and best international practices aimed at improving service quality and strengthening Uzbekistan’s position in the global tourism market.
The exhibition program covered a wide range of topics.
The first day focused on sustainable tourism development, hotel architecture and design, digitalization, and investment attractiveness in the HoReCa sector.
The second day centered on gastronomy: the «Gastro Forum 2025» included thematic discussions and presentations with French two-Michelin-star chef Jean Asner, as well as restaurateurs and experts from various countries.
The final day emphasized workforce development and educational initiatives in tourism. Discussions covered dual-education systems, modern approaches to training specialists, and staff professional development.
During the last day, the Uzbekistan Hoteliers Association signed several memorandums of cooperation with partners from Kyrgyzstan and domestic educational institutions. Additionally, the Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent (MDIS Tashkent) concluded agreements with tourism and cultural heritage colleges.
A Job Fair attracted around 2,500 participants, providing an effective platform for direct interaction between employers and young professionals interested in careers in tourism and hospitality.
Overall, «HoReCa Expo Uzbekistan 2025» confirmed its status as the leading industry event of the year, demonstrating Uzbekistan’s strong potential in tourism development, professional education, and international partnerships.
