Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the Turkish city of Antalya, a ceremony of official presentation of the exequatur and accreditation card to the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Antalya province Barysh Goekce took place, Dunyo news agency reported.

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkey Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, deputy head of the Antalya province, representatives of the business and academic circles of the region.

Within the framework of the event, the Honorary Consul discussed issues of promoting the economic interests of Uzbekistan, attracting Turkish investments to the republic, promoting the export of domestic products to the markets of Antalya and Turkey, developing cultural, humanitarian and other ties.

Particular attention was paid to the organization of the Anatolian diplomatic forum, which is scheduled to be held at the end of June this year in Antalya.

An agreement was reached on close cooperation aimed at attracting investments and developing foreign trade relations.
