Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group consisting of specialists from the Ministry of Energy, Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the Ximavtomatika joint venture of Honeywell is conducting pre-project studies at oil and gas production facilities.
The next visit of the working group took place at the production facilities of the Bukhara oil refinery.
During the visit, a meeting of the working group with foreign partners and specialists of the plant was organized. It discussed key issues regarding the organization of a platform for unified enterprise management, which will create conditions for the implementation of information systems aimed at increasing production performance indicators, as well as improving safety and production efficiency.
The working group got acquainted with the principle of process control at production facilities.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the issues of expanding digitalization and automation of all levels of enterprise management. On the part of the specialists of the Bukhara oil refinery, proposals were presented to improve the maintenance of the technological process system at the enterprise.
It should be noted that on 14 December 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between Honeywell, as well as a Roadmap for its implementation.
The purpose of this is the effective organization of digital transformation processes at enterprises, the introduction of digitalized accounting and control to reduce unnecessary costs in production processes, ensure the transparency of production in organizations and the introduction of advanced information and communication technologies and automated control systems in the industry.
It should be recalled that earlier the working group studied the capabilities of the automated operational dispatch control system (ASODU), introduced in the Mubarek, Shurtan oil and gas production departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Mubarek gas processing plant and the Shurtan gas chemical complex.
