Hokim of Tashkent Meets Mayor of Ulaanbaatar to Discuss Capital Development and Investment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Tashkent Hokimiyat between the Hokim of the capital, Shavkat Umurzakov, and the Mayor and Governor of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Khishgee Nyambaatar.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues related to the socio-economic development of the capitals, priorities in urban planning, transport, utilities, tourism, and investment attraction.

Particular attention was given to the policies of openness and transparency being implemented in both countries under the initiative of the heads of state and their role in improving the efficiency of public and municipal governance.

As part of the visit, Khishgee Nyambaatar was introduced to the work of Tashkent Hokimiyat’s Situation Center, where the center’s capabilities in monitoring urban processes, ensuring public safety, and responding promptly to emergencies using modern digital technologies were demonstrated.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in further expanding interregional cooperation, exchanging experiences, and implementing joint initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of their capitals and improving the quality of life for residents.
