High school students to be able to choose 2 elective subjects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- High school students in general education schools in Uzbekistan will be able to choose 2 elective subjects in addition to 8 compulsory ones.

It is expected that from the new academic year, schools in Uzbekistan will introduce an improved curriculum that meets the interests and abilities of students in grades 10-11.

According to the new program, high school students will study in 8 compulsory disciplines (chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, history, law, native language and literature, and a foreign language). They can choose two more subjects at will.
