Helicopter Patrols Launched in Tashkent Region for Environmental Monitoring
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Helicopter patrols have been initiated in Tashkent Region to identify sources of air pollution.
The initiative is implemented by the Special Commission for Environmental Oversight. During the first aerial patrol, commission leaders Aziz Abdukhakimov and D. Kadirov personally assessed the situation and took prompt measures in response to identified violations of environmental regulations.
Helicopter monitoring allows authorities to effectively detect enterprises and sites that breach environmental standards, including those difficult to access or hidden from ground inspections. This method significantly enhances operational monitoring, facilitates the identification of illegal emissions, and enables immediate enforcement actions.
The Special Commission will continue comprehensive measures to stabilize the environmental situation and ensure public health protection.
