Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 June 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a visit by the heads of diplomatic missions of European countries and the delegation of the European Union to TEKHNOPARK LLC, located in Yashnabad district of Tashkent.
Welcoming European diplomats, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov noted that among the priorities of the economic development of Uzbekistan is to increase the industrial potential of the country, including with the involvement of advanced technologies and know-how of European states.
One of the platforms for industrial cooperation is TEKHNOPARK LLC, established in 2019. on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the format of a public-private partnership in order to create high-tech, competitive, export-oriented and import-substituting industries.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps visited industrial workshops, got acquainted with their activities and the range of products manufactured by the technopark enterprises, including building materials, household appliances, elevators and escalators, water pumps, metal structures, panel radiators, etc.
It was reported that by the end of 2022, TEKHNOPARK LLC plans to launch the production of gas boilers, thermal insulation materials from basalt, HPL panels. It is planned to commission an automated logistics center. As emphasized, the implementation of these projects will create more than 10 thousand new jobs and expand the geography of exports to 30 countries.
European partners highly appreciated the potential and capabilities of TEKHNOPARK LLC, and also expressed their readiness for mutually beneficial and long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan with the development and implementation of promising projects in areas of mutual interest.
