Head of UNESCO Office wraps up her mission in Uzbekistan

In this connection, she was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 31 March 2017.

The parties exchanged views on the state and perspectives of the relations between Uzbekistan and UNESCO, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Uzbek side expressed gratitude to Ms.Pikkat for her effective work and great contribution put to further develop the cooperation between Uzbekistan and UNESCO, and also for her participation in realization of joint projects, directed to solve practical issues of strengthening the collaboration in the sphere of education and in the realms of science and culture.

Ms.Pikkat expressed her sincere thanks for comprehensive assistance provided during her activities as the head of the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan.
