Head of Andijan Region Presents Investment Potential at Business Forum in Istanbul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Governor of Andijan Region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov, is on a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

As part of the visit, the regional leader hosted a business breakfast with Turkish entrepreneurs in Istanbul, during which he presented the investment attractiveness of Andijan Region, existing opportunities in industry and agriculture, and a range of prospective projects.

Particular attention was paid to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkish partners and implementing joint initiatives. As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on further developing investment cooperation and strengthening practical business ties.

The governor is currently taking part in a business forum in Istanbul that has brought together more than 120 Turkish entrepreneurs.

The event is aimed at strengthening trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, expanding direct interregional contacts, and implementing mutually beneficial investment projects.

At the forum, Andijan Region’s investment potential is being showcased in industry, agriculture, the textile and furniture sectors, as well as logistics.

During bilateral meetings with Turkish business representatives, discussions focused on establishing joint ventures, creating new jobs, and organizing the production of export-oriented goods.

Within the forum’s B2B format, negotiations were held with executives of leading companies and organizations, including Tuna Ofisi and Mozaba Group.

Relevant memorandums of cooperation were signed, and concrete agreements were reached in promising areas such as artificial intelligence, insurance and reinsurance, and medical services.
