Hashtag #uzb24 trends on Twitter

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Internet users of Uzbekistan brought hadtag #uzb24 to the world trends of microblogging service Twitter. The users congratulated Uzbekistan with the 24th anniversary of independence with the campaign.

The campaign started at 16:00 of 28 August 2015. The initiators called all users to use hashtag #uzb24 in their posts. Several hours later, hashtag #uzb24 was among global Twitter trends.

It is worth to mention that similar campaigns are conducted annually on Independence Day of Uzbekistan (1 September) and Navruz (21 March).
