Hamad Medical Corporation ready to hire nurses from Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan, which included representatives from the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Uzbek Embassy in Qatar, held a meeting with Mohammad Al-Suwaidi, the head of one of the largest employers in Doha.
The new partner is Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar’s largest healthcare provider, which covers 90% of all medical services in the country.
During the meeting, it was noted that there are currently 12,000 nurses working in Qatar, only 70 of whom are Qatari nationals, with the rest being foreign workers.
As a result of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was reached between Hamad Medical Corporation and the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan.
The partners expressed a need for 1,000 nurses annually, and Uzbekistan is ready to create the necessary conditions to train specialists in accordance with the demands of Qatari employers.
