Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Registration is now open for the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2025 event, which will be held for the first time in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 21-22 May 2025.

Ahead of the event, GSMA has shared key insights from its upcoming report on taxation, Mobile Sector Taxation Report in Eurasia.

According to the report, countries like Turkmenistan (51%), Tajikistan (42%), and Uzbekistan (40%) face significant barriers to mobile internet usage, despite the availability of networks. The report states that reducing the tax burden on mobile adoption and investments in the region could lead to substantial socio-economic benefits and accelerate the digital transformation in Eurasia.

M360 Eurasia 2025, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the event's main sponsor Beeline Uzbekistan, a subsidiary of VEON, will provide a platform to discuss policy, investment, and technological advancements that shape the future of connectivity.

GSMA’s new CEO, Vivek Badri, will deliver the inaugural speech at M360 Eurasia 2025 in his new role.
