Group, selling donkey meet to catering organizations, detained in Ferghana region

The group was detained in Kushtepa district of Ferghana region. During the operation, carcasses of donkeys were found in the courtyard of the house Ozod Botirov in Korakushchi mahallas.

Ozod Botirov together with Bakhrom Zokirov and Oybek Muyidinov bought donkeys for 250,000-300,000 soums. They sold meat for 25,000-30,000 soums per kg. Meat was cut and stored in conditions, which did not meet sanitary standards.

The donkey meat was used to prepare the kazan-kabob and other dishes at Yagona cafe in Tashlak district, as well as in establishment of national dishes in Ferghana.
