Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21 May, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Ilzat Kasimov, held talks with Jing Suiyan, Director for Central Asian and Ukrainian markets at China’s Gree Electric Appliances.

During the meeting, representatives of the Chinese company were briefed in detail on Uzbekistan’s favorable investment climate for foreign investors. This includes tax and customs incentives, allocation of land plots, and the availability of well-developed industrial zone infrastructure.

The Gree delegation commended the ongoing economic reforms and the business-friendly environment in the country. They expressed strong interest in establishing manufacturing facilities in Uzbekistan to serve both the domestic market and export needs. Both sides agreed to continue working together on the practical implementation of the mutually beneficial projects discussed.
