The document was adopted in order to regulate sales of air tickets to residence and non-residence of Uzbekistan by airlines, their offices and agents.
The resolution said that foreign airlines are allowed to pay for fuelling of airplanes and land services to aircrafts in foreign currency from the accounts of their offices, opened at authorized banks of Uzbekistan, in line with the signed export agreements.
The Government of Uzbekistan also allowed foreign airlines, which have right to carry out flights in Uzbekistan and but not carry out regular flights into the country to pay for kerosene and land services for airplanes in cash hard currency. The companies, which are residents of Uzbekistan, should sell half of their hard currency revenue to the government in line with set legislation.
